Privacy notice

Clear handling of the information you choose to share.

This notice explains what fieldtheory.zone collects, why it is used, and how to ask a question or make a privacy request.

01

Information you provide

Field Theory receives information you choose to send through an inquiry, diagnostic response, or email. Depending on what you provide, that may include your name, email address, company, website, project context, timing, and the contents of your message.

You do not need to provide sensitive personal information. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, health information, government identification numbers, or confidential third-party records through the website or ordinary email.

02

Technical information

Hosting, security, and network providers may process basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security events.

The site uses local browser storage to remember a light or dark theme preference. It also uses short-lived first-party session storage to preserve non-personal campaign labels between pages. Those labels can be added to an inquiry email draft that you review and choose whether to send. The current release contains provider-neutral measurement hooks, but no analytics service or event transport is connected, so those hooks do not transmit or store interaction events. Field Theory does not currently use advertising cookies on this site. This notice must be reviewed before measurement or advertising is activated.

03

How information is used

  • Respond to an inquiry and determine whether Field Theory may be relevant.
  • Prepare, discuss, and administer a requested engagement.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and inquiry path.
  • Include non-personal campaign context in an inquiry draft you control.
  • Maintain business records and comply with applicable legal obligations.
  • Protect Field Theory, visitors, clients, and service providers from misuse or fraud.

Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. Field Theory does not sell your personal information.

04

Email and inquiry handling

Some inquiry actions may open a draft in your own email application. Nothing is sent to Field Theory until you choose to send that email. Your email provider handles the message under its own terms and privacy practices.

When Field Theory receives an inquiry, it may be stored in ordinary business communication and project systems used to respond, keep a record of the conversation, and manage any later engagement.

05

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by providers that support website hosting, security, email, scheduling, file storage, customer relationship management, and project delivery. If an analytics provider is connected later, this notice will be reviewed before event transmission is activated. Providers receive only the access reasonably needed for their role and operate under their own terms and safeguards.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business reorganization. Field Theory does not disclose inquiry information for another company to market its products to you.

06

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including communication history, project administration, security, dispute resolution, and legal or accounting requirements. Different records can require different retention periods.

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website, email, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

07

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of certain personal information. You may also object to or withdraw consent for certain uses when those rights apply.

Send a request to signal@fieldtheory.zone. Field Theory may need to verify your identity and may retain information when permitted or required by law. You can also use that address to ask a question about this notice.

08

Children, links, and changes

The site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. External links lead to services Field Theory does not control; their privacy practices apply when you use them.

This notice may change when the site or its information practices change. The current version will be posted here with a revised update date. Material changes should be reviewed before a new collection or marketing practice is activated.
